Arizona employment laws

Arizona employers must pay a fired employee within seven working days or by the end of the next regular pay period, whichever comes first; an employee who quits is paid on the next regular payday.

Arizona requires earned paid sick time for all employees: one hour per 30 hours worked, capped at 40 hours a year for employers with 15 or more employees and 24 hours for smaller employers.
