Account Manager 

 

OVERVIEW: Executes sales strategy, initiates contact with existing and potential customers, identifies customer needs, and sells appropriate merchandise to meet those needs.

 

Call Center Supervisor 

 

OVERVIEW: Supervises and coordinates activities of workers providing telephone customer support services.

 

Director of Sales and Marketing 

 

OVERVIEW: Plans and implements sales, marketing, and product development programs targeted toward existing and new markets.

 

Inside Sales Specialist 

 

OVERVIEW: Handles customer contact from an internal position, using various communication avenues (e-mail, telephones, fax, etc.) to induce customers to buy company products, and to solve any customer service problems uncovered.

 

Outside Sales Representative 

 

OVERVIEW: Secures orders from existing and potential customers by means of visiting the customer facility.  Offers the appropriate company products for each customer, and conducts hands-on review if possible.  Sometimes obtains customer orders through follow-up phone contact.

 

Regional Sales Manager 

 

OVERVIEW: Responsible for the sale of the company's products in a specified region or major geographical area.  Provides ongoing support to the product distribution function of the company.

 

Sales Assistant 

 

OVERVIEW: Assists the Sales manager in servicing existing accounts, obtaining orders, and establishing new accounts.

 

Sales Engineer 

 

OVERVIEW: Serves customers by solving application problems and other complicated physical or mechanical problems.  Trains/instructs customers on-site, identifying needs and adapting company products, equipment, and services as required.  Supports customers' technicians or engineers on-site and by telephone.

 

Sales Manager 

 

OVERVIEW: Handles all facets of sales, including devising and implementing sales strategies; forecasting sales; and recruiting, training, and supervising salespeople and regional sales managers.

 

Salesperson 

 

OVERVIEW: Secures orders from existing customers by means of personally visiting the account or via telephone.  Conducts follow-up service calls to all accounts to make certain they are satisfied.  Provides price quotes to all new and existing accounts; and conducts cold calls on a regular basis.

 

Telemarketer 

 

OVERVIEW: Makes prescribed sales presentations by telephone using appropriate company lists and dialogues.  Answers inquiries concerning selection and application of products and enhances company's position by establishing a good customer relationship.
