Chief Inspector 

 

OVERVIEW: Controls the quality of raw materials from suppliers, as well as finished components, assuring fast and accurate production of manufactured units using up-to-date inspection procedures and tools.

 

Cost Estimator 

 

OVERVIEW: Provides cost estimates to help Manufacturing department establish a coordinated system of profitable selling prices while remaining competitive.

 

Machinist 

 

OVERVIEW: Sets up and operates a variety of machine tools to produce precision parts, instruments, and finished products.  Includes precision instrument work to fabricate, modify, or repair mechanical instruments.  May also fabricate and modify parts to make or repair machine tools or maintain industrial machines, applying knowledge of mechanics, shop mathematics, metal properties, layout, and machining procedures.

 

Manufacturing Manager 

 

OVERVIEW: Establishes quality and production standards by designing and developing methods, establishing priorities, and selecting and training personnel.

 

Materials Manager 

 

OVERVIEW: Monitors, reviews, and coordinates all materials movement and storage, and designs cost-effective avenues for moving and storing product and materials.  Oversees warehousing of raw materials and finished goods, including storage in transit.

 

Plant Manager 

 

OVERVIEW: Plans, organizes, directs, and controls all manufacturing, materials management, order services, and engineering for the plant facility.

 

Production Coordinator 

 

OVERVIEW: Schedules and coordinates flow of work within and between departments of facility in order to expedite production.

 

Quality Assurance Manager 

 

OVERVIEW: Reports to the vice president of Marketing, and collaborates closely with the directors of Engineering, Marketing, and Administration to ensure quality control processes and procedures are followed throughout the company.

 

Quality Control Manager 

 

OVERVIEW: Maintains product quality by analyzing manufacturing and engineering requirements and devising testing methods and procedures.  Establishes product quality documentation by writing and implementing quality assurance procedures.
