Rain and 50 mph winds yesterday. Today cool and 60's with sun. Not bad.

Another record-setting 80 degree day here today.  Wonderful but very strange.

Baltimore. Yep, my league is hosting which means I am helping to run it. We are expecting about 5,000. I am not going to be a lot of fun come Memorial Day weekend though the insomnia will come in handy.

Why yes, I am insane.

If you aren't insane yet you will be.

My to do list is whittled down to the things I don't want to do. Sigh.

A few of you have had the uh, pleasure of seeing me at these tournaments. I can only imagine what kind of an impression I left. I love it but one of these days I will find a hobby that doesn't require arguing with teenagers and getting up before dawn. Thankfully, I have some wonderful, fabulous, amazing and responsible former munchkins who are also insane and have volunteered to come back and help.

My daughter sings in the school choir and does theater. I am glad there are people like you who find such pleasure in it. Thanks.

I'm meeting with my QA Manager and one of my Plant Managers in a few mintes to see if we can find away for the two of them to establish a better working relationship.  They just are NOT getting along.

Wish me luck.  Disapprove

Oh boy, you need lots of luck. Make them go to lunch together once a week. If they don't learn to get along they'll have indigestion.

How did it go?

Last time we had a problem like that, we could barely even get the two in the same room together. One of them pretty much refused to discuss the situation with me or with her direct manager, and the other told me she "didn't want to complain" but then proceeded to complain at every turn.  Unfortunately, in our situation it only got better when one of them decided to leave the company.

Hope it went well Beth.

It's a beautifully sunny 80 degrees and minimal wind today. Life is good!

Have a great weekend everyone!

It went amazingly well and I think both are genuinely committed to working effectively and cooperatively together.  Keep your fingers crossed.  Thumbs%20Up

Childhood friend of mine's father died Friday. Jimbo was a goalie in our hockey league and his father was always around. During the running craze in the late 70's, he started the Cowtown Marathon with around 200 runners. This year 25,000 people ran in one of the associated races held over two days. Not a bad legacy.

Sorry for your loss Tim.

Our 1st bike ride of the year we went 2 1/2 miles. Why yes my legs are a bit sore, especially since we also walked several miles at the soccer fields and the home and garden expo, then did yard work. Glad to be sitting at my desk today.

Hi Laurie.  Smile
Too often we underestimate the power of a touch, a smile, a kind word, a listening ear, an honest compliment, or the smallest act of caring, all of which have the potential to turn a life around.

Laurie, I know someone in Jacksonville. Maybe I should give her your email. She used to be on this board - you may even remember her.
