EPA - Equal Pay Act
The Equal Pay Act (EPA) amends the FLSA (Fair Labor Standards Act) to prohibit employers from paying male and female employees different wages for equal work in jobs that require equal skill, effort, and responsibility, and are performed under similar conditions. This pay discrimination law also demands equal benefits in those circumstances, even if the benefits cost more for one group than the other. Employers must know the definitions of the "equal" factors, as well as when pay disparities between sexes are legal. Continue EPA
