EEO-1 Survey Deadline Draws Near

(Published September 27, 2010)

Employers with 100 or more employees and subject to Title VII, and federal contractors that have 50 or more employees and a contract or subcontract of $50,000 or more, must submit the EEO-1 Report, otherwise known as The Employer Information Report, by September 30.

Covered employers have a legal obligation to provide the data; it is not voluntary.

To request an extension, submit an e-mail to e1.extensions@eeoc.gov before September 30.  Include in the e-mail: company name, company number, company address, and contact information for the individual responsible for the report.
